Carrot Bread

(an entire oven tray)

Carrot Bread

Carrot Purée gives vitamins, colours and juiciness to this bread. This bread is easy to make, and it will not make your hands dirty.

4 dl Bonne Carrot Purée
2 dl water or milk
50 g wet yeast
1 ½ tsp salt
1 ½ dl oil
2 tbsp syrup
5-6 dl wheat flour

Toppings: water and poppy or sesame seeds

Measure the carrot purée and water or milk into a bowl, warm up in the microwave until. Crumble in the yeast and let dissolve. Add the salt, oil and syrup while mixing. Mix in the flour, using a wooden fork. The dough must be somewhat runny, but not sticky. Pour the dough on a circular oven tray lined with baking paper, or into a large GN tray. Sprinkle some flour on top and pat the dough into an even layer. Let rise in a warm place under a cloth until double the size. Spray some water on the surface, either by hand or using a spray bottle. Sprinkle poppy or sesame seeds on top. Bake at 200 degrees for 15-20 min, or until the surface has a nice colour. Cut into serving sizes and serve.
